Hindi is the language of our soul and emotions - KK Yadav


A programme was organized in Varanasi HPO on 27 Sept. 2014 to mark the closing of Hindi Pakhwara. The programme started with the felicitation of Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, by Mr Rajkishore, SSPOs Varanasi East Division, who also outlined the details of various programmes, held during the fortnight.


Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region, said that Hindi is the language of our soul and emotions, which integrates literature, culture and art. In terms of creativity and power of expression of thought Hindi is unparalleled. Mr. Yadav said that in this age of digital revolution, Hindi is also getting polular in the domain of internet. The Young generation of the country is embracing Hindi in the form of social media and blogging. Hindi has the caliber to become a universal language. At present, Hindi is used not only in India but a number of other countries of the world. Hindi is being taught in more than 150 universities of the world. After Chinese language number of Hindi speaking people is the largest in the world. Today, while the popularity of Hindi is spreading rapidly on computer and internet, people from other countries are coming to India to learn Hindi. Elaborating the importance of Hindi, Mr. Yadav said that the importance of Hindi is being realized as the language of change and development. He emphasized that apart from official programmes, if every Hindi speaking person decides that he will work in Hindi, rise of Hindi as a global language will be unstoppable.


Mr Rajkishore, Sr. Supdt of Post Offices Varanasi East Division said that Hindi is not only our mother tounge its also our official language, and there's a need to broden its use through technology to ensure maxium outreach among masses. Mr. T B. Singh, Superintendent Post Offices, Varanasi West said that Hindi is a language integrates the whole nation and its use in official work shall be promoted.



Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, felicitated the winner of various competition organized at Divisional Office Varanasi and Varanasi HPO. In Divisional office for Essay writing Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Supreeta Gupta, Ankita Mishra, for typing competition Murari Lal, Sandeep Kumar Gupta, and Pratima Mishra were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize.  Similarly, in Varanasi HPO, for Typing competition, Harishankar Yadav, Abhsihek Pandey, and Ritu Sharma, for Essay competition Munnawar Ali, Ranjana Prajapati, Abdul Kadir, were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ganesh Prasad. Vote of thanks was expressed by Mr. H. G. Verma, Senior Post Master.
